TITLE INSURANCE AND CLOSING SERVICES

Bonney & Associates also services the needs of regional and national lenders, real estate companies, realtors, and real estate developers, with a concentration in residential closings, commercial lending, construction lending, and issuance of title insurance and/or endorsements as required. Our primary objective as counsel for a transactional client is to examine title to real property, and work closely with client and title insurance examiners to take those affirmative steps that are necessary to minimize the risks that clients may face with respect to any adverse claim as a result of defects or clouds in the title prior to selling or purchasing real property.

We realize that for most consumers, the closing process often is confusing, and the consumer relies solely upon the title closing company to ensure that the consumers’ interests are protected. But, when title problems arise, typical title closing companies often lack the “in-house” legal expertise to address or resolve any title issue which may arise, and in turn, the consumer is forced to hire an attorney in order to close the transaction. However, as a law firm with attorneys authorized as title insurance agents, B&A is inherently equipped to address legal issues which may arise in order to expedite the closing process.
